Local poster nerds:Died Young, Stayed Pretty, Eileen Yaghoobian's documentary about gigposters and the people that make 'em will be screening at Cinematheque tomorrow at 9. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to this. Here's the trailer:
Hi, Awesomeness! It could've been better, unfortunately. The film was rather unfocused...no narrative feel to it. I liked seeing it, because I've met a handful of the folks involved. Those I haven't, I knew of via gigposters.com. And yeah, I really dig that photo. It was taken just outside the coffee shop where we met.
